Short-term and long-term moorings are available to boaters with vessels up to 38’ in length. Moorings are Hazlett elastic with protective covers. Mooring rental includes complimentary self-service tenders with electric motors.

Secure your boat at one of the Park’s two seasonal mooring fields. An official permit is required.

Hudson River Park has the capacity to moor up to 17 private boats in its mooring field located on the southern end of Pier 40, in the River at West Houston and West Streets. The mooring field is open from May 1 through October 31 each year and is available to boaters by paid permit only.

To obtain fees and a permit application, please contact Captain Jim Gill via email or by phone at 646-372-1356. Mooring field permits are granted on a first come, first served basis.
